My Face Final

Digi Pack

We got inspiration for our artist James Couleur from Bastille as they are an indie rock band which is the same as our artist.

Some other similar artists are The Killers. The Killers are a very famous and popular, well known Indie Rock band; who have been amazingly successful over the years. Due to this success there comes different albums made and therefore lots of digipacts have been created. Here are some of their digipacks.

We have planned in our music video to use lots of colour and powder paint. Along with this and our music genre that we are aiming for being Indie Rock Coldplay matched this perfectly down to a tee. The reason for this being that their music matches our artist James Couleur. Also their album Mylo Xyloto was filled and jam packed with vibrant colours. Here is the example of their Mylo Xyloto album cover and digi pack.

As you can see the title of the album is right in the middle of the Digipack. The title takes up around third of the front cover, and the rest is filled in with colour. This is in complete contrast to the other digi packs that Coldplay usually produce. A unique twist to this album is in the graffiti words you can see in the background of the album cover. Some of the graffiti if you look closely links into the lyrics or songs on the album. An example of this is in the top right hand corner of the album. If you look closely you can see the words 'Everytear Waterfall' this links into the song on the album "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'.

This is the back of Coldplay's Digi pack from the album Mylo Xyloto. As you can see the back of the Digi pack is full of colour and graffiti continuing to link with our theme for our album. The inspiration for our colour bonanza in our music video is backed up with the montage of colour you see here.

Here you can the CD for Coldplay's album Mylo Xyloto. Yet again the colorful print gives us great inspiration for our video.
